I decided not to have a 'shop' with buy now buttons. as an artist, I would prefer to have a chat with you to discuss your requirements, available paintings, or painting something for you.
I will be happy to listen to your ideas for a painting and hopefully we can work together to produce an individual piece of work.. If you prefer less input I will be happy to come up with ideas for you to think about.

A little about Pete's work
A little about Pete's work
Pete has had a lifelong passion for artwork and has developed individual techniques for both paintings and his three dimensional work.
Success came early when he won the Brooke Bond prize for art when at school and since than has worked on a wide variety of projects incorporating many disciplines into his work.
In the eighties, he began making scale copies of buildings and ornate furniture which quickly became in demand with work going to clients in Britain, America, Europe and Australia.
Work has been commissioned by museums and specialist retailers as well as private collectors.
His work has been displayed at such prestigious locations in the u.k. as The Shakespeare Trust properties, The National Trust, the Ferens Gallery and internationally at the bruce museum in new york. one particular highlight was a piece of work being displayed by invitation at The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.
He has been working on his necktie character paintings for several years. The idea of using the necktie in artwork started when he saw an old tie knotted around a lamp post.
Many of the paintings contain humour and a social commentary and are intended to convey a particular moment in time or longed for occasion.
Pete feels the necktie lends itself to suggesting both the male and female form and can take on a lifelike pose.
He has now been working on portraits and figurative paintings and intends to create a story within his work.
He works with a loose approach rather than photo realism using a bright pallet and strong contrasts to create a particular atmosphere within his work.
Pete has appeared on television, been interviewed on the radio and his work has appeared in many books, national newspapers and magazines in the u.k. and abroad
